Techniques Classes

Hi, I have had many questions about the different ways Stampin' Up products can be used, and I would hate to think that you have something sitting on your desk that you are not sure what to do with. Therefore, I have decided to start monthly "Techniques Classes" commencing in July. Over the next few weeks I will feature cards with different techniques (see below), and over the course of the coming months, I will endeavour to share them all with you. Final details will be coming shortly - so stay tuned.

"Everything To Me" Bird

This is a cute little card using the "Always" stamp set.

On this card I have used the "Thumping" technique - note the different colours on his belly and tail.

You can even use it with sentiments.

Birthday Swings!

Hi Everyone, It's been a few days since my last post, but I have a couple of exciting things to share with you. Firstly, I am so excited to tell you that Stampin' Up! is having a Colour Renovation. This means, from September 2010 (in the next new Idea Book & Catalogue) we will have 4 new Colour Collections. The Colour Renovation is a refreshing, updated colour palette with a combination of current colours with previous In Colours and five new colours.

The 5 new colours are Marina Mist, Cajun Craze, Cherry Cobbler, Early Espresso, and Daffodil Delight. Some previous In Colours returning are River rock and Wild Wasabi, and I'm super excited about the current In Colours being added to the Colour Collections ( Pink Pirouette, Baja Breeze, Pacific Point, Riding Hood Red, Tangerine Tango & Melon Mambo, Rich Razzleberry, Soft Suede). Very Vanilla is coming back, and we still have Kraft - it just has a new name - Crumb Cake! And there's more - each year we will have 5 new In Colours staying for 2 years each.

Click here for a look at the new Colour Collections.

Unfortunately, this also means that we will be saying goodbye to some colours on the 31st August to make way for the new. That gives us plenty of time to stock up on all our favourites.

Click here for a look at the Fond Farewell colours.

Secondly, some super exciting news for anyone thinking of becoming a Stampin' Up Demonstrator - whether for starting your own business, or to get the personal discounts on products. From May 21 to July 31, the Starter Kit is being offered at a 20% discount - this means that instead of $324.00 - the full kit is only $259.00. This is extremely good value (to check out what is included, look inside the back cover of the Catalogue).

Finally - three very special people in my life have started their own blogs this weekend. First was Shelley, a very special friend (who is a Stampin' Up fanatic). Shelley does some amazing creations, so check it out as soon as possible - http://www.shelleysland.blogspot.com/.

And Alyssa (my daughter) and Tori (my neighbour). These two girls are very creative and inspiring, and will probably run a crafting empire one day. Hop on line and see what they're making now.

Mother's Day Card

Hi Everyone, Today I wanted to share with you the gorgeous Mother's Day Stepper Card my daughter made for me.

Alyssa made this with a friend (Tori), and I was very impressed with the attention to detail. The flowers are coloured with the blender pens, and her shading on the pots is awesome.

Alyssa has cut out one of the pots and the watering can, and adhered them with foam dots.

I love it, Alyssa, Thank you.

Luv, Tereesa.

Do you love the tossed-away skate-board?
